Stuart F. Williams, DO

Dr. Williams has a long legacy of contributions to Osteopathic Medicine, overseeing medical students both in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and Family Practice. Dr. Williams served as Full Professor at Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine with area of expertise in Osteopathic Principles and Practice. Additionally, he has served as Professor and Chair, Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, Carolinas Campus.

In addition to his academic positions, Dr. Williams has continued his direct patient care. In 2007, Dr. Williams was named one of the “Top Docs” in Fort Worth by Texas Magazine. In 2006, he received the ML Coleman Faculty Award for TCOM “Clinician of the Year.”

Dr. Williams has authored or co-authored more than 20 journal articles, was a reviewer for the journal Osteopathic Family Medicine, and has been a presenter/speaker at numerous medical conferences and workshops.

Dr. Williams looks forward to continuing his patient practice at North Texas Musculoskeletal Medicine and to continuing his education of patients and students alike on the principle tenets of Osteopathic medicine:

  1. The body is interconnected and not just a sum of the parts
  2. The body can heal itself when impediments and restrictions are removed to allow it to work freely and naturally.
